• Email address — when you join our pre-launch waitlist or otherwise contact us.
• Phone number — if and when you contact us for support, or otherwise opt in to receive text messages from us.
• Basic technical data — standard web request information (such as IP address and browser type) collected automatically when you visit our site, used only for security and basic operation of the site.
• Text sign-up record — if you sign up for texts, we keep your number, the date and time, the wording you agreed to, and the IP address and browser used, as proof of your consent.
• Advertising measurement — our public website (wharfhound.com) uses the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure and improve our advertising. It can set cookies and send Meta information about visits to our public pages, such as which pages were viewed and that someone joined our waitlist. It is not used in the signed-in Wharfhound app or on any rental business's online booking pages. You can limit this through your Meta ad settings and your browser's cookie controls.

We use the information we collect to operate our waitlist, notify you about our launch, respond to your questions, and provide account and customer support, including by text message when you've opted in to receive it. We do not use your information for any purpose beyond operating and improving Wharfhound and communicating with you about it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain the information described above for as long as needed to operate our waitlist and provide support, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Wharfhound is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Wharfhound develops. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
